Ingredients 

Alfredo

  • 1 lb Fettuccine Pasta
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 6 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup White Wine 
  • 1-1/2 cup Half and Half 
  • 8 ounce Heavy Cream
  • 8 ounce Parmesan, grated 
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes

Shrimp

  • 1 lb Shrimp 
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter 
  • 2 Tablespoon Lemon Juice

Directions 

Alfredo

  1. Cook pasta, strain, and set aside. 
  2. Melt butter in the bottom of a large pot over medium heat. Add the garlic and saute 3 minutes or until fragrant but not browned.
  3. Add white wine to de-glaze the bottom of the pot. Bring to a simmer. 
  4. Mix in the remaining Alfredo ingredients. Whisk until all the cheese is melted and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy. Make sure not to boil the sauce, this will curdle the cream and result in a bad texture. 
  5. Stir in pasta and top with, or stir in, shrimp. 

Shrimp

  1. Toss shrimp with salt, garlic powder, pepper and red pepper flakes. 
  2. Melt butter in a large saute pan over medium high heat. Add shrimp and cook until no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Add lemon juice to pan and stir together. 
  3. Remove from heat and use to top Alfredo or stir into pasta. 
  4. Enjoy!
